About

Welcome to Fantasy Wedding. What is Fantasy Wedding? Well if you or anyone you know are planning a wedding or considering having a wedding anytime in the future, or for that matter simply have an interest in weddings then hopefully this will become a resource for you.

Background

I began my wedding career as a photographer in the early eighties working for Dunlap Turney Photography in Glendale CA. Shortly after joining the studio I was introduced to weddings, and from that day forward I knew I had found my forte and have been involved with weddings ever since.

My wedding career has taken many turns from photographer, to consultant, coordinator, designer, bridal show producer, wedding magazine publisher, father of the bride, as well as father of the groom. And finally owning and operating one of Las Vegas’ premier Wedding and event facilities Emerald at Queensridge.

Along the way I have met phenomenal individuals with incredible talent whose influence has defined my vision and perception of this industry. However of all the lessons I have learnt the one underlining issue I discovered over and over again, is that in order to appreciate the wedding industry you have to absolutely LOVE WEDDINGS.

Ever since my introduction to weddings I knew I wanted to be involved with creating something special. I have anguished for sometime to focus my attention on a format for my soap box, and have decided to create a resource for brides as well as wedding professionals to exchange ideas, and find creative solutions to question pertaining to weddings.

I recently began exploring social networking sites to determine their feasibility and received advice to create a Facebook page. My initial response was that Facebook is a social network for friends to exchange personal pictures and never saw the connection for sharing valuable resource instantly with “Fans” who subscribe to a professional Facebook page.

As I embark on this new journey I am apprehensive, curious, and excited at the prospects and possibilities that lie ahead. If you have ideas for a post or would like to become a regular contributor I invite you to share your thoughts, input, and advice.
